Gather

It’s the time of year when family and friends come together from near and far to enjoy food, fun, laughter, and good company. A home is a place to gather, especially during the holidays. At Coats Homes, we are so fortunate to get to be a part of creating the spaces where these memories will be made. Let’s take a look at some of our most notable “gathering” spaces.

Game Room

Having a specialty room, such as a game room, bowling alley, or golf simulator, is more than a cool design feature in a home. It provides a designated space for family time and allows for active engagement between all ages. Just imagine using one of the below spaces for your post-holiday meal hangout!

A Cozy Fireplace

There is something classic about getting a deck of cards, a cup of hot coco, and cuddling up to a fireplace on a chilly winter night. Even if you are fortunate enough to live in a place that is warm all year long, a fireplace can set the cozy meter on an all-time high. Whether yours is charming and classic or a sleek and modern outdoor space, a fireplace will always create an irresistible holiday ambience.

Wine Bar

For all the holiday hosts out there, these wine bars are sure to be a crowd pleaser. Delish.com has a ton of fun and festive cocktail recipes to elevate your entertaining abilities. Try swapping out cocktails for cookies to turn this into a kid friendly space. The long counter tops provide the perfect surface for a frosting assembly line and a sink nearby gets the mess cleaned up quickly!
