A Modern Masterpiece

We have long admired the work of SmithArc, and always wanted to work with them on a home. Their architectural design under the leadership of Signe and Jason, is a refreshing take on modern architecture. It is a true masterpiece when a design is modern yet warm....and so we introduce our project on Caruth. A thoughtful combination of finishes, utilitarian elements beautifully disguised, and a muted color palette creates a home that is minimalistic but stunning. Feast your eyes on this beauty!

The kitchen features white oak running the expanse of the wall and ceiling creating a wave that continues into the family room. Speaking of beautifully disguising the necessities, the refrigerator and freezer are perfectly concealed by the white oak.

Windows run the expanse of the living room and pool table room adding brightness and providing a view of the backyard and outdoor living space. And remember our mention of the variety of finishes used? Look at how the tile floor, stone fireplace, and the back-painted glass backsplash compliment, not compete with, each other beautifully.

The library features the same gorgeous white oak as the kitchen and family room and overlooks a sculpture garden.
